Linda Sandhar: Inspirational Speaker
Linda Sandhar established 4 Steps To A Smile in 2004, in the West Midlands, her mission was simple, no child should go without at Christmas. Linda, a survivor herself of domestic violence, would visit women’s refuges to ask how many children were sheltering there that Christmas and how many gifts each refuge needed. Fast forward 12 years later and 4 Steps To A Smile has provided thousands of gifts to children throughout the West Midlands. 4 Steps To A Smile was awarded charitable status in 2015, and has a clear purpose to help Women and Children, living with domestic violence. Linda has delivered emotional and inspirational key note speech to Ashram Moseley DVA conference in 2015, and was invited to speak on BBC Midlands today and Radio WM. She has also spoken in schools on behalf of Blastbeat Education UK. In 2017 4 Steps To A Smile will commence its Strength project, aimed at providing a safe place for survivors to meet and to gain Strength, through group counselling and equipping our survivors with life skills. Linda is currently writing a novel about her own journey entitled "I Just Never Knew" and is available for booking for conferences, media collaborations and events. This is just the beginning......
